Transportation

No matter the medium of transportation, it is reasonably convenient to travel in this part of the city. Saint-Sauveur is very convenient for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without the use of a car, and many businesses are reasonably close at hand. This neighbourhood is also a fairly pleasant part of Québec for cyclists. For example, cyclists do not face significant slopes, and there are a good number of bike lanes. Owing to over 50 nearby bus lines, this part of the city is moderately transit friendly. Driving is also a fairly good transportation option in this neighbourhood. Many real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Charest.

Saint-Sauveur is very quiet overall, as the streets are very calm. There are over 50 public green spaces nearby for residents to check out, like Parc Victorin-Beaucage and Parc de la Pointe-aux-Lièvres, and they are very well-spread out, which results in them being very easy to get to from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood.
