Transportation

Regardless of the medium of transportation, it is fairly easy to travel in Pointe-aux-Trembles. This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute Métropolitaine, are very easy to reach from any home in Pointe-aux-Trembles, and it is convenient to find a parking spot. Thanks to 4 train stations (e.g., Gare Pointe-aux-Trembles and Gare Rivière-des-Prairies) on the 15 - Mascouche, and around 20 nearby bus lines, the transit service in Pointe-aux-Trembles is fairly practical. It is at times challenging for pedestrians to get around in Pointe-aux-Trembles as running common errands is sometimes difficult without a vehicle. On the other hand, Pointe-aux-Trembles is suited for bicycling as there are a limited number of hills.

Services

Families will value that wherever their home is located in this part of Montréal, schools and daycares are nearby.
