Lakeroad is reasonably appropriate for cycling since there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly good. This area is also a fairly convenient part of Dollard-des-Ormeaux for pedestrians; many common errands can be run on foot. The public transit system in Lakeroad is rather limited.
