Walker Farm is a neighbourhood in Windsor, Ontario.


The preferred way to get around in Walker Farm is very often driving. Parking is generally easy, and it is a very short car ride to the nearest highway, such as E.C. Row Expressway, from any home in Walker Farm. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of the city is rather limited. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Most homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very conducive to walking since very few daily errands can be run on foot.


High schools and primary schools are not very plentiful in Walker Farm, and thus tend to require an extended walk to get to. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. With respect to food, purchasing one's groceries very often necessitates the use of a vehicle in this neighbourhood. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops in Walker Farm.


Walker Farm offers a wide variety of green spaces to enjoy. There are a few parks nearby for residents to unwind in and they are especially well-situated, making it easy to reach them. Finally, this neighbourhood is an excellent area for those who don't mind a little noise, as traffic during rush hour can occasionally be loud.
