The neighbourhood of City Centre can be found in the city of Windsor, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Windsor metropolitan area.


Active people will be pleased with the especially pedestrian-friendly character of City Centre; all day-to-day needs can be carried out on foot, and many businesses are very nearby. Getting around by car is sometimes challenging in this area because parking is not particularly easy, and almost none of the street infrastructure is appropriate for driving. Commuting by transit can also be sometimes difficult in City Centre due to the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are commonly nearby.


Daycares and primary schools are straightforward to walk to from anywhere in City Centre. In contrast, there are no high schools in City Centre. Concerning food, both general and specialty grocery stores are usually accessible within a very short walk from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood. Likewise, with over 50 restaurants and a few cafes, this part of Windsor is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat. About 45% of properties in this part of Windsor were constructed pre-1960, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This part of Windsor offers mainly two bedroom and one bedroom homes. Renters occupy about 80% of the properties in City Centre and owners occupy the remainder.
