The neighbourhood of West Woodbridge Industrial Area is part of the city of Vaughan, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Cars are an excellent transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is very easy to come across a parking spot, and the majority of homes for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as Highway 407. In contrast, this neighbourhood is not an especially pleasant part of Vaughan for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically close by. The bike is a fairly poor method of transportation in this part of Vaughan as the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and the topography is not especially flat. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for property owners in West Woodbridge Industrial Area since few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.


Some property owners in West Woodbridge Industrial Area may have the option to shop for their groceries by walking, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation. Residents are served by approximately 30 restaurants and cafes as well. Regarding education, there are only a few primary schools in this part of Vaughan and consequently they can be a rather long walk away. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant construction boom between 1990 and 2000, so most of the available properties are from this time period. There is a higher proportion of four or more bedroom homes in this part of Vaughan. Nearly 95% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while renters make up the remainder.
