Transportation

The preferred way to get around in Maple is usually a car. It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 400, from anywhere in this part of Vaughan, and it is convenient to come across a place to park. However, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Maple is reasonably appropriate for bicycling because there are a fair number of bike lanes. However, travelling by foot in Maple is not very popular, although meeting day-to-day needs is easy by walking.
