The neighbourhood of Don Mills can be found in the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Don Mills will attract property owners that appreciate a diversity of methods of transportation. The public transit system in this neighbourhood is fairly good. In particular, the neighbourhood is connected by about 10 bus lines, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. Physically active property owners will also value the walk-friendly character of this part of the city; running common errands is easy by walking. Travelling by bicycle is occasionally difficult in Don Mills as there are quite a few elevation changes, and the cycling network is sometimes poor. Nonetheless, some enjoyable sectors for bicycling exist.


It is easy to reach the closest supermarket by walking from any location in Don Mills. Additionally, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and house buyers are served by about 10 cafes as well. When it comes to education, parents and their kids will value that wherever their house is situated in Don Mills, daycares and schools are nearby.


People who prefer a slower-paced ambience will enjoy Don Mills. This area features a lot of greenery; parks, such as Edwards Gardens and Donalda Club, are very well-spread out and there are approximately 20 of them close by for residents to explore, resulting in them being very easy to get to from most locations within this part of Toronto. This part of Toronto is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are tranquil - although that is not the case near the railway line, Don Valley Parkway or Highway 401.

The homes in this neighbourhood are quite old, since about 45% of its dwellings were built pre-1960, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This part of the city has a good variety of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Roughly two thirds of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas the rest are renters.
