Rural Richmond Hill is a neighbourhood within Richmond Hill, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Rural Richmond Hill is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Highway 404, are reasonably easy to drive to from any location in Rural Richmond Hill, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, commuters benefit from the Gormley Station on the Richmond Hill Line. Homeowners benefit from Yonge / Jefferson Sdrd on the blue | VIVA BLUE. There are around 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually close by. This area is not very conducive to biking as the cycling network is not very well-developed, and there is a considerable amount of elevation changes. Rural Richmond Hill is also not very suitable for those who travel by foot since many daily needs are challenging to meet on foot.


Property owners in Rural Richmond Hill generally have to turn to a vehicle to buy groceries. There are also a few choices for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. With respect to education, there are only a few high schools and primary schools in Rural Richmond Hill and therefore they can be an extended walk away. In addition, daycares are not very plentiful and accordingly not always within walking distance.
