The neighbourhood of Devonsleigh is part of the town of Richmond Hill, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured method to move around in Devonsleigh is often driving. It is easy to find a place to park. In contrast, the transit service in Devonsleigh is rather limited. Nevertheless, rapid transit stations, including Yonge / Elgin Mills, Yonge / 19th-Gamble and Yonge / Bernard with access to the Viva Blue, are not very far-removed from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. There are about 20 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. Traveling as a pedestrian is not particularly practical for home buyers in Devonsleigh because few common errands can be run without a vehicle. However, the bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in this part of the town.

Services

It is easy to get to the closest grocery store by foot from most houses for sale in this part of the town. In Devonsleigh, the majority of buildings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings are the main alternative in the housing stock. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around 80% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the remainder are renters. This part of the town experienced its largest construction boom in the 1990s, so most of the available properties are from this era.
