Transportation

Monaghan is a fairly convenient part of Peterborough for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without needing to use a car, and numerous businesses are moderately close at hand. Biking is also convenient in Monaghan. This area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. In contrast, Monaghan is reasonably car friendly. It is easy to park.

Services

Families will find that no matter where their home is situated in Monaghan, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, there are only a few high schools and therefore they can be a long trip away. Concerning food, it is easy to reach the closest supermarket as a pedestrian from most houses for sale in this part of the city. Furthermore, this area is a good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. It is also a reasonably short stroll to a decent selection of clothing stores.
