The neighbourhood of Manotick can be found in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, which is situated in the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area.


Manotick is especially car friendly. Parking is generally easy. In contrast, the public transit system in Manotick is not very accessible. Thankfully, property owners can count on Kilbirnie / Greenbank, River Mist / Kilbirnie and Kilbirnie / Breakstone on the 75 |. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of Ottawa are located in places that are not very suitable for walking as very few common errands can be run on foot. Commuting by bicycle is also difficult in Manotick because the area is not especially flat, and there are few bike lanes.


It can be very hard to walk to high schools and primary schools from houses for sale in Manotick. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and consequently tend to require a very long walk to get to.
