Cumberland is a neighbourhood within Ottawa, Ontario, which is situated in the Ottawa - Gatineau metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured mode of transportation in Cumberland is usually driving. Finding a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, the public transit system in this neighbourhood is not very practical. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and most properties are close to a bus stop. Cycling is difficult in Cumberland as there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave. This area is also not very suitable for walking since almost no daily errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

Cumberland does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, daycares are not plentiful and thus not always within walking distance. Concerning food, purchasing one's groceries very often requires the use of a vehicle in this neighbourhood.

Character
