Located within the Norfolk metropolitan area, Simcoe is a community in Norfolk County, Ontario.

Transportation

House buyers who want to live in an area that's walkable will be pleased with the reasonably pedestrian-friendly character of this community, although common amenities such as barbers or laundromats can be an occasionally long distance away. However, this part of the city is not especially conducive to cycling since the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a good number of elevation changes. The preferred approach to get around in Simcoe is often a car. Parking is quite easy. However, Simcoe is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the community, and the closest bus stop is generally around the corner.

Services

Families will value that no matter where their house is located in Simcoe, schools and daycares are close by. As far as eating is concerned, the nearest supermarket in Simcoe is generally only a short distance away.
