The neighbourhood of Sheridan can be found in the city of Mississauga, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Sheridan is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, are easy to access from anywhere in Sheridan. However, public transit riders may experience few choices in Sheridan as a result of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, there are many rapid transit stations on the 110 | University Express. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. This part of the city is not particularly amenable to bicycling as the cycling network is sometimes poor, and there is a considerable amount of hills. Sheridan is also not especially suitable for walking since few daily needs can be met without having to resort to a vehicle.
