House buyers who want to live in a walkable community will also enjoy the reasonably pedestrian-friendly character of Old Milton; running daily errands is convenient without needing a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Public transit users may have limited options in this area due to the low service level. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from the Milton on the Milton. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. In contrast, Old Milton is reasonably car friendly. It is easy to find a place to park, and many real estate listings are a rather short car ride from the closest highway.
