Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Bowes is a neighbourhood within Milton, Ontario.


Cars are an excellent transportation option in Bowes. Parking is quite easy. In contrast, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are close to a bus stop. This part of Milton is not very conducive to cycling since there are few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists. Walking is also not very feasible for house buyers in Bowes as most daily needs are impractical to meet on foot.


Families may find it challenging for their children to access high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Likewise, there are only a few daycares and therefore they can be an extended walk away. With respect to eating, getting to the nearest grocery store by walking is feasible for some, but not all, property owners in this area.
