Transportation

Buttonville is very car friendly. It is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Highway 407, from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and coming across a place to park is quite easy. However, the public transit system in Buttonville is sometimes poor. Nonetheless, the nearest rapid transit station, such as Hwy 7 / Woodbine, Hwy 7 / Allstate and Hwy 7 / Montgomery with access to the purple | VIVA PURPLE, is generally relatively close by from the majority of residences in the neighbourhood. Homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Buttonville is not very suited for cycling because the cycling network is not very extensive, and bicycling is rendered difficult by the typically steep area.
