Transportation

This neighbourhood will draw active people as it is conducive to walking; carrying out daily needs is easy. Stanley Park is also appropriate for biking as the bicycling infrastructure is quite comprehensive. The favoured method to get around in Stanley Park is very often a car. It is straightforward to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 7, are very easy to drive to from any location in this neighbourhood. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be sometimes difficult in Stanley Park as a result of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close.

Services

It is easy to access the closest grocery store on foot from anywhere in Stanley Park. A limited number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. About 60% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while renters occupy the remainder. In this area, about half of dwellings are single detached homes, and the remainder are mainly large apartment buildings, small apartment buildings, and townhouses. This area experienced its biggest construction boom in the 1960s and 1970s, so most of the available properties are from this time period. This part of Kitchener has a good variety of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
