Transportation

This part of the city is very car friendly. The majority of real estate listings are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7, and it is very convenient to access a parking spot. In contrast, travelling by public transit is difficult in Forest Hill. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Travelling by foot is not very popular in this area, even though many daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. In contrast, the bicycle is a reasonably good method of transportation in Forest Hill as this part of Kitchener boasts a fairly good cycling infrastructure.

Services

Families will value that no matter where their property is situated in this part of Kitchener, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. On the other hand, daycares are not especially numerous and consequently not always within walking distance. Regarding food, it is easy to access the nearest grocery store on foot in this area. Likewise, those who like to eat in restaurants will have a good number of choices. It is also a reasonably short distance to a decent variety of clothing stores.

The character of Forest Hill is exemplified by its calm environment.
