Part of the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area, Country Hills is a neighbourhood within Kitchener, Ontario.

Transportation

Most houses for sale in this part of Kitchener are located in areas that are reasonably suitable for those who travel as pedestrians; many common errands can be run without the need for a car. Country Hills is also amenable to cycling as there are a good number of bike lanes. Commuting by transit can be occasionally difficult in Country Hills by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, there is Block Line Station with access to the ION Light Rail. Homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences. However, this neighbourhood is a very good part of Kitchener for travelling by car. It is convenient to park, and many real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway.

It is a reasonably short stroll to reach daycares and primary schools from anywhere in this part of the city. However, it can be difficult to access high schools without the need to get in a car.
