Situated within the Greater Hamilton metropolitan area, Parkview East is a neighbourhood within Hamilton, Ontario.
Transportation
Driving is very often the preferred transportation option in this part of the city. It is very easy to park, and it is a short car ride to the closest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any location in this neighbourhood. However, getting around by public transit is difficult in this part of Hamilton. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. Getting around as a pedestrian in this neighbourhood is not very common, even though many daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. In contrast, this area is rather conducive to biking since riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.
Services
It is especially easy to reach the nearest grocery store without the need for a vehicle from any location in Parkview East. In addition, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a fair number of opportunities, and a small variety of coffee shops can be found as well. Regarding education, it is a reasonably short stroll to reach primary schools and daycares from most properties for sale in Parkview East. However, this part of Hamilton does not have any high schools.
Character
One of the highlights of Parkview East is its great variety of green spaces. There are around 10 parks nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes them very easy to access from a lot of locations in the neighbourhood.
