However, West Deane Park is not especially bike-friendly since there are few bike lanes. Nonetheless, cycling is more practical in some sectors than others, and there are a limited number of slopes. It is at times challenging for pedestrians to move around in this part of the city as common amenities such as barbers or laundromats can be an occasionally long walk away. However, driving is a great transportation option in West Deane Park. It is easy to find a place to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 427.

Character

This part of the city is relatively quiet, since there are few people out and about on the streets, although noise levels are higher closer to Highway 401 or Highway 427.

Housing

The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of West Deane Park is an important part of its character.
