Lake Vista is a neighbourhood within Ajax, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a very good transportation option in Lake Vista. It is easy to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. On the other hand, public transit riders may experience limited choices in this part of the town by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. The bicycle is a fairly good method of transportation in Lake Vista. On the other hand, walking is not very popular in this neighbourhood, despite the fact that running common errands is easy without a car.

Services

In Lake Vista, families will usually be able to access schools and daycares by foot. With respect to food, it is occasionally feasible for property owners in this neighbourhood to shop for groceries without a vehicle. Moreover, there is often a restaurant or cafe in close proximity.

Character

Lake Vista is unique in that it has both vibrant and quiet areas, making it appealing to more people. Although this part of the town is not known for its lively atmosphere, with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located relatively close by. At the same time, most areas in this part of the town are especially quiet, as the streets tend to be very tranquil. Green spaces aren't well-spread out, making it very hard to get to them from the majority of locations in Lake Vista. Despite that, there are around 20 parks close by for residents to relax in.

Housing

In Lake Vista, around one quarter of buildings are small apartment buildings, while single detached homes and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly three quarters of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while renters occupy the remainder.
