It is easy to move around by bicycle in East York.

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away in this part of Toronto. Likewise, there is typically a restaurant or cafe just around the corner, for instance along Bayview Avenue. It is also very easy to access a selection of clothing stores without a car.
