Northwood is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good mode of transportation in Northwood. The majority of properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to park. In contrast, the transit in Northwood is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Northwood is reasonably appropriate for cycling because there are not many hills to confront cyclists. This part of Thunder Bay is not especially suitable for people who get around by foot since few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle.
