Located within the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Mariday Park is a neighbourhood in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are fairly suitable for those who prefer to travel by walking; meeting daily needs is convenient without a car. However, this part of Thunder Bay is not particularly cycling-friendly since there is a considerable amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive. Getting around by transit can be challenging in this part of the city as a result of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are commonly very close by. However, the car is often the favoured way to move around in Mariday Park. Many homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, and accessing a place to park is quite easy.

Services

House buyers in Mariday Park will appreciate that a grocery store is always only a rather short trip away. Additionally, a restaurant is generally just around the corner, and residents are served by a few cafes as well.
