Situated within the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Gemstone is a neighbourhood in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

The favoured way to navigate Gemstone is usually a car. It is very easy to park, and many real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, the public transit network in this area is rather limited. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. The bicycle is a somewhat poor method of transportation in this neighbourhood as this part of the city has fairly poor cycling infrastructure, and the area is not very flat. Gemstone is also not very suitable for pedestrians since running common errands is inconvenient without a car.

Services
