Sudbury is a community in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.

Transportation

Sudbury is a fairly good part of Greater Sudbury for travelling by car. It is very easy to come across a place to park. However, getting around by public transit is difficult in this part of the city. Nevertheless, property owners are served by about 20 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. Getting around on foot is not very common in Sudbury, even though running daily errands is easy without needing a car. On the other hand, this community is fairly bicycling-friendly because there are a good number of bike lanes.

Services

In this part of the city, families will generally be able to get to schools and daycares as pedestrians. With respect to food, it is convenient to get to the nearest grocery store by foot from most houses for sale in this community. Additionally, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and there are also approximately 30 coffee shops in Sudbury.

Character

Sudbury offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. There are over 150 parks nearby for residents to discover, including Selkirk Park and James Jerome Sports Complex, which makes it easy to get to them. This community is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.

Housing

In Sudbury, roughly 45% of dwellings are single detached homes, while large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings make up most of the remaining housing stock. This community offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes. The proportions of homeowners and renters are about even. About one third of homes in this community were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
