Waterloo Village

The neighbourhood of Waterloo Village is part of the city of Kingston, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Kingston metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city is very car friendly. It is straightforward to park. In contrast, Waterloo Village is not an especially convenient part of Kingston for moving around by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Traveling on foot is not very popular in Waterloo Village, even though running common errands is convenient without a vehicle. The bicycle is a somewhat poor means of transportation in this part of Kingston because there are a fair number of hills, and the cycling network is rather limited.

Services

It is a very short distance to access primary schools and daycares from any location in Waterloo Village. On the other hand, this area does not contain any high schools. In terms of eating, it is frequently possible for property owners in Waterloo Village to do groceries without a vehicle. Furthermore, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe just around the corner.
