The neighbourhood of Steeles Industrial is part of the city of Brampton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto metropolitan area.


The fairly good public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. On the other hand, Steeles Industrial is not very cycling-friendly because the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes. Most houses for sale in this part of Brampton are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who travel by foot since few common errands can be run without the use of a car. However, the preferred way to navigate Steeles Industrial is very often driving. It is especially convenient to park, and many houses for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 407.


A supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a reasonably short walk from anywhere in this part of the city. Residents benefit from about 20 restaurants and coffee shops as well. Regarding education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Steeles Industrial. Moreover, parents and their kids may consider it very hard to reach daycares on foot.


There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Steeles Industrial. It is easy to access parks in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy. Lastly, it is relatively serene in this part of Brampton, thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians.

The homes in this neighbourhood are relatively new, since about 45% of its dwellings were built following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s. This area has a good choice of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Renters occupy around 70% of the properties in the neighbourhood whereas the remainder are occupied by owners.
