The neighbourhood of Riverside is part of the town of Ajax, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Cars are a very good transportation option in Riverside. It is straightforward to park. In contrast, public transit riders may find few choices in Riverside by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses.
