Driving is a great means of transportation in this community. It is very convenient to park. It is very hard to commute by bicycle in this community as there are a good number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and College Lake is home to quite bad cycling infrastructure. Nonetheless, bicycling is better in certain areas than others. It is also very impractical for people travelling by foot to move around in College Lake as running daily errands is practically impossible without a car.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. Moreover, it can be very difficult to reach daycares from homes for sale in College Lake. With regards to eating, doing one's groceries usually demands the use of a vehicle in this area.
