Part of the Greater Truro metropolitan area, Lower Onslow is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Lower Onslow is particularly car friendly. It is very convenient to park. Biking is very hard in Lower Onslow as there are a good number of hills, and the bicycling network is quite poor. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very convenient for pedestrians as most daily needs are practically impossible to carry out without a vehicle.

Services

A car is almost always needed in this area to reach the closest supermarket. Concerning education, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, parents may consider it very difficult for their kids to get to daycares by foot.
