Transportation

This neighbourhood permits homeowners to travel by several methods of transportation. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are reasonably conducive to people who like to get around as pedestrians; many daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle, and plenty of businesses are close by. This part of Halifax is also suited for cycling. With about 20 nearby bus lines, the fairly good public transit access makes transit a viable option for many. Getting around by car is also very convenient in Westwood & the Pubs. Coming across a parking spot is quite easy, and many real estate listings are a very short car ride from the nearest highway.
