West Quoddy is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

West Quoddy is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very suitable for people who like to get around on foot as almost no common errands can be run without a vehicle. West Quoddy is also not very bicycling-friendly since the topography is not very flat, and the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. In addition, daycares are not abundant and accordingly tend to require a very long stroll to get to. Concerning food, it is very rarely an option for house buyers in this part of the municipality to buy groceries on foot.
