Located within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Upper Lakeville is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is very often the favoured transportation option in Upper Lakeville. Parking is generally easy. A majority of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very well-suited for those who prefer to get around as pedestrians because running daily errands is nearly impossible without a vehicle. The bike is a rather limited method of transportation in Upper Lakeville as there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite poor.

Services

Upper Lakeville does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, daycares are not plentiful and therefore may require a very long trip to get to. With regards to eating, a vehicle is almost always needed in Upper Lakeville to access the nearest grocery store.

Character

Upper Lakeville is a wonderful community to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. Upper Lakeville is very quiet overall, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic.
