The community of Terence Bay is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured method of transportation in this part of Halifax is very often driving. Accessing a parking spot is generally easy. Many of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very suitable for those who like to get around on foot as almost no common errands can be run without a vehicle. Cycling is also difficult in Terence Bay as there are very few bike lanes, and riding is made strenuous by the often steep area.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. Likewise, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long distance away.
