Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Tangier is a community in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is usually the best means of transportation in Tangier. Parking is easy. Getting around on foot is not very practical for property owners in this part of Halifax as meeting daily needs is very difficult without a vehicle. Cycling is also very hard in Tangier since the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor, and the terrain is not especially flat.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Tangier. In addition, parents may consider it very hard for their kids to get to daycares by foot. Regarding food, it is very rarely an option for property owners in Tangier to do their groceries by walking.
