The neighbourhood of Penhorn can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured means of transportation in this part of Halifax is usually a car. It is a short car ride to the closest highway from any home in this area, and it is very convenient to access a parking spot. However, the transit system in this part of the municipality is rather poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are typically around the corner. It is sometimes challenging to travel by bike in Penhorn as there is a considerable amount of slopes, and there are few bike lanes. Most houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are also not especially convenient for pedestrians since few daily errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

It is straightforward to reach the nearest supermarket as a pedestrian from any location in Penhorn. Additionally, there is generally a restaurant or cafe in close proximity. It is also convenient to get to a number of clothing stores by foot. Regarding education, it is a very short trip to reach daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in Penhorn.
