Transportation

The best method to navigate North Street is usually a car. It is very convenient to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway. In contrast, North Street is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally around the corner. It is occasionally difficult for people walking to navigate North Street since few day-to-day errands can be run without a car. North Street is also not especially bike-friendly because cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is rather poor.

Services

In this part of the municipality, parents and their kids will generally be able to reach daycares and schools as pedestrians. As far as food is concerned, it is very easy to access the closest supermarket without the use of a vehicle in North Street. A limited number of restaurants and cafes can be found as well. The large proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of this area is an important part of its character.
