The community of Murphy Cove is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the municipality is particularly car friendly. It is very convenient to access a place to park. Traveling as a pedestrian is not very practical for house buyers in this community because almost no common errands can be run without a vehicle. The bike is a quite poor mode of transportation in this part of the municipality since the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and the area is not very flat.

Services

Murphy Cove does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, it can be very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian. Concerning eating, it is very rarely possible for house buyers in this part of the municipality to do their groceries by foot.
