Located within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Long Lake is a community in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Long Lake. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot. Long Lake is not very cycling-friendly because there are very few bike lanes, and the topography is not particularly flat. It is also very impractical for people walking to navigate this part of Halifax since almost no day-to-day errands can be run without needing a vehicle.
