Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Imperoil is a neighbourhood in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This area is very car friendly. Nearby highways are fairly easy to reach from anywhere in this part of Halifax, and it is especially convenient to park. However, this part of the municipality is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically very close by. Traveling on foot is not very convenient for house buyers in Imperoil as very few daily errands can be run without a vehicle. Imperoil is also not very amenable to biking because riding is made arduous by the typically steep topography, and the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor.
