Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Graham's Corner is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

It is easy for people walking to get around in this neighbourhood; many common errands can be run without a car. Riding a bike is reasonably prevalent in Graham's Corner since the bicycling network is fairly extensive. Graham's Corner is not an especially pleasant part of Halifax for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. On the other hand, Graham's Corner is very car friendly. It is straightforward to park, and nearby highways are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this part of the municipality.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are very easy to reach as a pedestrian from any location in this part of Halifax. However, there are no high schools in Graham's Corner. When it comes to food, it is convenient to access the nearest grocery store by foot in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, Graham's Corner is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe.

Character

Graham's Corner is a "jack-of-all-trades" when it comes to the ambience of this part of the municipality. Although the atmosphere is not the most lively in this area with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is sometimes difficult to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located relatively close by. Graham's Corner is very quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. It is very easy to access public green spaces from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are around 40 of them close by for residents to discover.

Housing

There are equal parts owners and renters living in Graham's Corner. In this neighbourhood, roughly half of dwellings are single detached homes, while the rest are mainly small apartment buildings and townhouses.
