East Pennant

The community of East Pennant is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is especially car friendly. Finding a place to park is generally easy. This part of the municipality is not very bike-friendly as the bicycling network is quite poor, and the topography is not very flat. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of Halifax are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for those who prefer to travel as pedestrians as running daily errands is very inconvenient without the use of a vehicle.

Services

East Pennant does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. In terms of eating, property owners in this part of Halifax usually have to use a car to reach the closest grocery store. A small selection of restaurants is available in this area.

The character of East Pennant is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This part of the municipality is especially quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, most locations in the community have reasonably good access to parks, like Harrietsfield Sambro Volunteer Fire Station Lands, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.
