Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, East Dover is a community in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This part of the municipality is an extremely good part of Halifax for travelling by car. Parking is generally easy. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in areas that are not very convenient for people who get around by foot since almost no daily errands can be run without the need to use a car. This part of Halifax is also not very bicycling-friendly because there are a fair number of hills, and there are very few bike lanes.
