Duncans Cove is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred transportation option in this part of Halifax. Coming across a parking spot is easy. Duncans Cove is not very well-suited for pedestrians because almost no daily needs can be met without a car. In contrast, biking is convenient in this part of the municipality.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Duncans Cove. Furthermore, daycares are not abundant and accordingly not always within walking distance. With respect to food, purchasing one's groceries usually demands the use of a vehicle in this community.

Character

The character of Duncans Cove is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. Duncans Cove is very quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-spread out, which results in them being rather challenging to reach from a large number of locations within the community.
