The community of Blind Bay is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the municipality is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot. Blind Bay is not very suitable for pedestrians since running common errands is nearly impossible without needing to get in a car. Biking is also very hard in this area because the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a good number of elevation changes.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Blind Bay. Likewise, it can be very difficult to access daycares by foot. Regarding food, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in Blind Bay to reach the nearest supermarket without a car.

Character

Blind Bay is an excellent community to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Blind Bay is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
