Beech Hill

Beech Hill is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is very often the best method to navigate this part of the municipality. It is very easy to come across a place to park. Moving around by bicycle is very hard in this community because the topography is not particularly flat, and the cycling network is not very comprehensive. It is also very difficult for people walking to navigate Beech Hill since almost no common errands can be run without a car.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the municipality. Furthermore, it can be very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian. Concerning food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to buy groceries.

Character

Beech Hill is a reasonably good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. There are a few green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes them easy to reach. This community is also reasonably good for those who need quiet surroundings, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
